Please Note: Steel and Tools products are delivered using different methods and cannot be combined. Delivery costs will therefore be calculated independent of each other even when ordered together, resulting in two separate delivery charges.

Next Working Day Steel Stock Delivery

At ParkerSteel, we understand that our customers require fast, efficient and reliable delivery to meet tight industry deadlines. Order with us before 6PM daily for a truly unbeatable next working day delivery service on all our steel stock lines.

If additional orders are placed in the same day, no additional delivery costs will be incurred, providing:
  • Your delivery has not yet been despatched
  • The delivery address is the same
  • The delivery date is the same
  • The items are issued from the same depot

Difficult Delivery Area

A charge may be applied if your delivery falls under a difficult delivery area ie: Central London / Isle of Wight etc.

Isle of Wight

Deliveries to the Isle of Wight are made every Tuesday & Thursday.

Next Day Tools Delivery

For Tools & Fixings orders cleared before 5PM, delivery will take place on the next working day via DHL couriers. Orders made on Saturday, Sunday or bank holidays are despatched the following weekday.

Does ParkerSteel deliver to your area?

Offloading

It is the Customer's responsibility to offload the Goods at the Delivery Point in a safe manner and to provide free of charge, adequate labour and equipment for this purpose.

Our vehicles do not come equipped with lifting equipment and our drivers are only employed to deliver goods.

Although the load has been checked for accuracy and stability, the recipient must complete a further check before starting the offloading process, as the load may have moved during transit.

Unloading Checklist

Prior to delivery and offloading, the recipient must carefully consider the following:

  • Access Restrictions
  • Position of Vehicles
  • Obvious hazards
  • Access onto Vehicle bend
  • The Condition and stability of the load following transit
  • Method of unloading
  • Size, weight and balance of items being lifted
  • The location of people whilst unloading
  • Manual handling risks
  • Environmental Conditions (Temperatures, Light, Wind, Snow & Rain etc)
  • The final destination of the material
