An alcohol hand sanitiser manufactured according to World Health Organization (WHO) recommended formulation no. 1. hand sanitiser produced by this formula, when used in accordance with the instructions for use, are effective against a class of enveloped (lipophilic) viruses to which the SARS-CoV-2 (2019-nCoV) virus belongs. SaniBloc AG105 hand sanitiser is based on 70% ethanol content. The formulation contains ethanol, glycerol and hydrogen peroxide, according to the EN1500 standard. Alcohol-based hand sanitisers are the only known means for rapidly and effectively inactivating a wide array of potentially harmful microorganisms on hands.
