Product Description

5% Si containing aluminium alloy welding wire for GMA (MIG) welding of aluminium and aluminium alloys, having <2 % alloying elements, as well as cast aluminium alloys, having <7 % silicon. Improved fluidity. Less sensitive to weld cracking producing brighter, almost smelt free welds. Recommended for welding 3003, 3004, 5052, 6061, 6063, and casting alloys 43, 355, 356 and 214. Typical Composition: Si 4.5-6.0%; Cu 0.30 Max.; Fe 0.80 Max.; Mn 0.05 Max.; Zn 0.10 Max.; Mg 0.05 Max.; Ti 0.20 Max.; Others 0.15 Max.; Al Balance (95%). EN ISO 18273 R 4043A. DIN 1732 SG Al Si 5.
