After many years of wanting a customised sign to represent the entrance to the village, the Lindsell Village Hall Committee set up various fundraising events to raise the funds to make it happen. After months of planning the sign, raising the funds and getting planning permission from the council, the Village hall committee were happy to go ahead and put the job out to numerous companies.
Unfortunately due to the complicated and intricate nature of the sign they were being let down or ignored by numerous companies. But just when they thought all was lost and the sign would never become reality, they came in contact with Angelina and Mariana at ParkerSteel, who advised straight away that the job was no problem and that our waterjet could easily cope with such an intricate design.
They placed an order immediately and the job was soon under way. It took a total of 2 days to cut and prepare before being delivered shortly after. "After being let down by other suppliers in the beginning, I was extremely happy when the sign arrived and was over the moon with how good the sign looks" Chris Barnardo of the Village committee
